Eye Re-Surgery@eye-redo

I do not recommend Geunal Plastic Surgery Clinic, please don’t do it there (medial epicanthoplasty restoration + revision eye surgery)

Hello I am a woman in my 20s. As of now, it has been 317 days since my surgery. I’m posting this in the hope that it may be of even a little help. From now on, I’m going to tell a very long story. <I hope nothing like what happened to me ever happens again> I’ll begin. I had been under extreme stress because of an excessive medial epicanthoplasty and high double eyelids, so I searched for clinics and came to know Geunal Plastic Surgery Clinic. After that, I booked a consultation, met the director, and because of the director’s confidence, assured gaze, and detailed explanations, I booked surgery for March 4, 2023 and left. After that, [the day of surgery] came, so I visited the clinic, changed clothes, waited for about 1 hour, and went into the operating room. They disinfected the area, and local anesthesia was administered when I was under 10-minute sleep anesthesia. But this is where <Incident 1> occurred. Not long after I was anesthetized, the anesthesiologist woke me up. They said I was getting up and moving to the recovery room. Since I was still under anesthesia, I was dumbfounded, but I moved for the time being. Five minutes later, it was noisy outside, so when I woke up, the police were there. I couldn’t understand what was going on, and when I opened my eyes the police were there, so I called a staff member on the spot, and they told me to change clothes first and come out. I was not fully awake from the anesthesia, but in my anxiety I decided I should not stay there any longer. I thought I should first change clothes and then find out what was going on, so after changing I gathered my belongings and came out to the lobby. When I asked a staff member, I was told that a customer was unhappy with their surgery and caused a disturbance, and because of that incident, Director Yoo Kyung-hwan was taken to the emergency room. For this reason, after I had even been anesthetized, I could not have surgery, and my surgery was delayed from 24.03.05 >>> 24.03.08. In that situation, I should have made a quick judgment, and I should not have gone through with the surgery, but ultimately by my own choice, I proceeded with surgery again on 24.03.08. (23.03.05) The day I only had anesthesia My eyes were severely swollen and bruised, so on the day of surgery, 3.8, I had swelling laser treatment, and surgery was performed in the afternoon. The surgery was completed safely, and although the bruising and swelling were severe, it was my arrogance to think that everything would go well after that. After that, my double eyelid became two lines, and the asymmetry became even worse. I had surgery because I was stressed about the asymmetry, but for the asymmetry to become even worse was truly beyond words. In the end, one eye underwent (second revision surgery) 3 months after surgery, on 5.31, and after that, because the medial epicanthoplasty restoration was also asymmetric, we decided to open one side a bit, and on 9.30 I had (second medial epicanthoplasty) surgery. The eyes completed that way are an asymmetric, uneven mess. {I will leave photos} In the end, I underwent surgery 3 times in total. There were no additional surgery fees, but the result became even more uneven, and it was as if I threw away 4.8 million won in surgery costs, and I wasted my time too. Surgery really needs to be chosen carefully, and if you are thinking of doing it at Geunal Plastic Surgery Clinic, I do not recommend it. Thank you for taking your precious time to read my post. If you have any questions, please leave a comment.
