Ah.... I don’t know where or how to begin explaining this. This is my first review.
10 years ago _ Nose surgery: 5 mm silicone + donated costal cartilage for the nasal tip
1 month ago - Inflammatory reaction to the silicone [swelling, throbbing pain, pressure, sudden deviation, nasal tip contracture]
I went to the hospital where I had the surgery and got antibiotics, which I took. It didn’t get better. Everywhere I went, they said the silicone had to be removed. I thought it would be okay if only the silicone was removed. Finally I would be free from the pain of silicone, a free person. I was scared, but on the other hand, I also felt relieved...
Last week I had the silicone removed. Because of the inflammatory reaction, it was done with an open approach. But.... To put it in one sentence, it was not inflammation.
Why did it happen? My skin is thin. My bones are not thick either. I’m very petite; even just looking at me, I’m 155 cm and 45 kg. But the surgeon who did my first operation forced a short-nose procedure. They had cut the nasal bone, used high silicone (stupidly, I didn’t even know how many millimeters had been put in. I had clearly asked them to make it natural, not a high celebrity-like nose....)
So they said my nasal bone collapsed. Part of it had also dissolved. ... .. . Have you seen a case like this?
And while removing the silicone, the doctor said, why would they have put donated costal cartilage in the nasal tip... And... They couldn’t remove the donated costal cartilage. It had become too embedded into my skin... They said the donated costal cartilage had been covered and covered with sutures to raise the nasal tip....
So the conclusion is that the nasal bone had worn away, and because of the donated costal cartilage, the nasal tip lifted and contracture happened. The sutures haven’t been removed yet, but I can see it. It has become a ski-slope nose and an upturned nose... I want to die.
Even the doctor who removed the silicone said, it must be bad enough that we should put silicone or Gore-Tex back in... Even though it’s not a Gangnam clinic that does excessive plastic surgery, they still said that, so you can imagine how bad it is... For now, they said to wait 6 months...
It’s already like this, so how am I supposed to live.... As time goes on, the nasal tip will lift more, and once the swelling goes down, I’ll be able to see the bridge of my nose gradually disappearing. I want to die. What do I do? This is what happens from one moment of plastic surgery. I really think doctors who talk about plastic surgery so lightly, and the culture in our country, are wrong. No... who can I blame? It’s my foolish fault....
Have you ever even heard of a case like this? I thought, now I can live comfortably. Okay, I’m fine without the high nose now. But I really want to die....
I think our country is so wrong for advertising plastic surgery as if it’s too simple.... When you first do it, not a single person properly tells you about side effects. Ah... it must just be my foolish mistake.... Ha....
