They said I only had to look at the green light for 40 seconds in each eye, so I wasn’t particularly nervous, but once I actually went into the operating room, it was scarier than I thought..? They fixed my eye open with a device that spreads the eyelids and burned it with a laser. It didn’t hurt, I was just a bit tense. There’s a smell like burning squid, and that’s the smell of the cornea being burned.. A few minutes after surgery, it became hard to open my eyes, so I kept them closed, and the pain gradually got strongerㅠㅠ My eyes really stung and watered, so painkillers are essential.. From the day after surgery, there was occasional mild pain in my eyes, but it didn’t hurt anymore, and until day 3 after surgery it was hard to open my eyes. From day 4, my eyes opened well, but I couldn’t see well. Vision gradually improves, but until the protective lenses are removed, it’s just so-so, and after removal it goes up sharply. And astigmatism and double vision don’t recover well.. I still have severe glare. Also, after surgery, my eyes are not as dry as I expected. But the side that was usually dry felt like it had more pain. Not being able to wash and the long recovery period are downsides, but so far I think it’s manageable
