I had my first surgery around the time Gore-Tex was popular, and I was told it would look more natural over time. They also said that unlike silicone, it would settle well and wouldn’t become crooked, but instead, the bridge of my nose looked uneven and crooked. On top of that, as time passed, it felt like my nasal tip was gradually drooping too. A close younger friend had revision surgery at this clinic and was satisfied, so I went there through their recommendation. Before going, I looked into it a bit and found that they were well known for revision surgery and had many years of experience. I also thought that if I went through a referral, maybe they would take a little better care of me ^^;; I was worried because I had seen people say that removing Gore-Tex is difficult and challenging, but after the consultation, my trust in the clinic and the director went way up, so I scheduled the surgery right away that same day! The consultant was kind too. Now it’s been about 5 months since surgery, and the bridge of my nose looks clean, and I think it turned out naturally without looking crooked, right?! My nostrils used to show a lot, so I also had nostril lowering done, and now that my nostrils don’t show, I think the overall look has more atmosphere. Originally, one side of my nasal bone itself was protruding, so to make the nasal bones symmetrical, they shaved one side a bit. The swelling on the shaved side was so severe that at first, it looked even more asymmetric than before surgery, and I felt really discouraged. But a little after 2 months, the swelling went down and it became symmetrical. So now I’m very satisfied with my revision rhinoplasty, so I’m leaving this review. After surgery, I hope others don’t get too impatient like I did..!
