To fix a bulbous nose

Whoa, same as me. I’m also going to have surgery for a bulbous nose with autologous costal cartilage, and I’m debating whether to do alar base reduction tooㅜㅜ I thought ㅁㅎ looked pretty good too

Isn’t alar base reduction for noses that are spread out?

If your nose isn’t too spread out, maybe you don’t need to go as far as alar base reduction???

I think I know ㅁㅎ, but I’m not sure about ㅈㅇㅌ. I looked at ㄹㅅㅍ and ㄱㄴ, and those places seemed to handle noses professionally too

If the hospital doesn’t recommend alar base reduction, don’t do it unnecessarily. Some people say it leaves scarsㅠ It’s better to do it only if needed. For ㅁㅎ, is it Director Yoon?

I haven’t heard that you absolutely use autologous costal cartilage just because it’s a bulbous nose..!! Mine is a first surgery, but when I got a CT at ㅍㄴㅅ, they said my septal cartilage wasn’t enough, so I decided to use autologous costal cartilage. It’ll probably depend on everyone’s nose condition

Autologous costal cartilage is used a lot too, and if it’s a revision surgery, everyone’s conditions are different, so it seems like they check that and tailor it accordingly.. It seems people really go to places like ㅁㅋ a lot too

When you get a consultation, they’ll tell you whether you need to do both depending on your skin thickness

For the alae, I think you can decide whether to do it after checking the left-right width? They say just having a bulbous nose doesn’t automatically mean alar base reduction. I’m also doing a revision, so I’m thinking of ㅂㄹㄱ, ㅅㅇㅋ, ㅈㅅㅌ, and I’m planning to go ask too...
