It’s a revision rhinoplasty, but to fix a bulbous nose, can it be done with autologous costal cartilage? What do you think about doing alar base reduction too? I’d like the nasal tip not to spread out and to hold well... I was so disappointed with my first surgeryㅠ The places I’ve set my mind on for now are ㅁㅎ and ㅈㅇㅌ, and I’m still continuing to look into other hospitals too......
오지마삼저리가삼 Whoa, same as me. I’m also going to have surgery for a bulbous nose with autologous costal cartilage, and I’m debating whether to do alar base reduction tooㅜㅜ I thought ㅁㅎ looked pretty good too
이은구 Isn’t alar base reduction for noses that are spread out?
달구달구야 If your nose isn’t too spread out, maybe you don’t need to go as far as alar base reduction???
해밀턴햄버거 I think I know ㅁㅎ, but I’m not sure about ㅈㅇㅌ. I looked at ㄹㅅㅍ and ㄱㄴ, and those places seemed to handle noses professionally too
밀크쿄쿄아 If the hospital doesn’t recommend alar base reduction, don’t do it unnecessarily. Some people say it leaves scarsㅠ It’s better to do it only if needed. For ㅁㅎ, is it Director Yoon?
헤지스님 I haven’t heard that you absolutely use autologous costal cartilage just because it’s a bulbous nose..!! Mine is a first surgery, but when I got a CT at ㅍㄴㅅ, they said my septal cartilage wasn’t enough, so I decided to use autologous costal cartilage. It’ll probably depend on everyone’s nose condition
캔디 Autologous costal cartilage is used a lot too, and if it’s a revision surgery, everyone’s conditions are different, so it seems like they check that and tailor it accordingly.. It seems people really go to places like ㅁㅋ a lot too
십칠 When you get a consultation, they’ll tell you whether you need to do both depending on your skin thickness
팍씨되는게없 For the alae, I think you can decide whether to do it after checking the left-right width? They say just having a bulbous nose doesn’t automatically mean alar base reduction. I’m also doing a revision, so I’m thinking of ㅂㄹㄱ, ㅅㅇㅋ, ㅈㅅㅌ, and I’m planning to go ask too...

- Review: I’m seriously super satisfied right now - Contracture phase: I don’t even know if it has come yet; I still don’t know whether it hasn’t come or already did (about a week ago, my nose was hard for 2-3 days... maybe that was it..)-
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 I was quoted 23 million won... is this right...

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 Complete removal after one month due to nasal inflammation
I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 I’m deciding between Asan and RU! Has anyone had surgery at Asan?ˀ̣
My nose had inflammation, so everything has been removed, and I think there’s still a little inflammation left. Considering that, I feel like Asan might be the right choice, but I’m so torn because I don’t know if the shape will turn out pr
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 Can contracture also occur with implant-free autologous costal cartilage?
Just as the title says…..
