My mom’s eyelids were so droopy that I was torn between that and double eyelid surgery, but because I wanted something natural, I didn’t touch the double eyelid line and had a lift through an incision under the eyebrow. About a week later, the swelling and bruising had gone down a bit, and I was definitely satisfied because the eye itself looked better without altering the line. The eye shape feels more defined too. If I were a little younger and recovered faster, though, I think changing the line would still be more dramatic.
