Nose complication (a step-off developed)

That's me! I've been like this for about 13 years, and I think the step appeared after orthodontic treatment. The tip of my nose also dropped. I also had silicone and septum surgery, and even when I touch it by hand, it feels sunken, and I can see the horizontal line too, so I'm totally fed up with my looksㅡㅡ I went for a revision consultation, and on the CT they said the nasal bridge flesh is thick, so that could be part of the reason too. I'm completely stressed out But the hospital I want to go to said 100% improvement might be difficult. That wasn't what the doctor said; I asked the manager again by KakaoTalk after the consultation. So I'm wondering if I should go back to the hospital

I think I heard that they just fill the step in a little with filler... Did you get a consultation at the original clinic you went to?

And even when I talked about it right after the surgery, they acted like it wasn't a side effect (but in the end it's clearly something anyone can see as a side effect like this)... I want to go to a completely different clinic

I can’t tell from the photo whether it’s a side effect step or just a preexisting nose wrinkle that became more noticeable after raising the bridge

If it's just an uneven step, revision surgery should be simple.

The left side looks thicker from the front, so it seems to be bending because of the step-off.

What did the hospital that did the surgery say? Is revision surgery the only way to fill in the step?

[@Mongdolmongdolsi] The hospital where I had the surgery said it was just a wrinkle when I brought it up at the 6-month mark, before it got this bad; but in the end, as time passed, it became a deep horizontal indentation that anyone could see... So I ended up not going back to that hospital for a consultation...

I thought mine was a step deformity too, so I went to a clinic to look into revision surgery, but it wasn't a step deformity.. it was that the silicone had moved, and if the silicone moves, you have to get revision surgery anyway) So I had revision surgery...

[@금치] Actually, I originally wanted to fill it with filler, but I’d also heard filler can be bad for your face later on, and the doctor scolded me hard, saying this isn’t something that can be solved by just adding filler, so I ended up getting revision surgery

About 10 years ago, I had something like a horizontal dimple on the nose area... So I had a third revision surgery, and now 10 years have passed. Now my nostrils show, and they said if the silicone near the glabella moves, that’s a complication? So I’m planning to get revision rhinoplasty within this year.. Go quickly and get that revised.

I’m in my 4th year too, and I’m in the exact same situation right now.. A step-off formed, a horizontal line appeared, and the hospital says it’s because of scar tissue, but after living fine and then suddenly having this happen.. I’m not sure that makes sense

It looks like it may be slightly crooked, so I think you should go in for a consultation
