<Front><Side (same on left and right)>Early after surgery, the tip of my nose turned red like Rudolph, so I was really stressed... When I went to the hospital where I had the surgery, they said it wasn’t inflammation and that it would get better with time. After about a year and a half, the redness became a little less frequent (though it still sometimes gets red and then settles down repeatedly). I could accept the redness, but from around 6 months, when the swelling went down, I started to see a slight indentation in the space between the silicone implant and the nasal septum. The hospital said it was just a wrinkle..? (A wrinkle that wasn’t there before surgery suddenly? And on the nasal bridge?...) Now, in my 4th year, it’s completely sunken in and I can see a long horizontal lineㅠㅠ It’s visible even just looking in the mirror.... It’s not just slightly indented; the space between the silicone implant and the nasal septum is sunken horizontally all the way from end to end, so anyone can tell I have a complicationㅠ I’d rather just live with it if possible, but it’s so severe that I think I’ll have to get surgery... Even in photos it shows so clearly, but it looks so unsightly that I just can’t bring myself to upload them. Has anyone here had something like this? In cases like this, do I need full removal, or do I need revision surgery..? I need to look into hospitals, but I have no idea whether I should mainly look for hospitals that are good at full removal or hospitals that are good at revision surgeryㅠㅠ If anyone has had a case like mine, please share your experience or recommend a hospital...ㅠ I’m so distressed... Some people were curious about the photos, so I’m adding them. (Sorry for the blackhead jumpscare)
떡볶이조와 But if that’s scar tissue, they do say it goes down.. At least that’s what the director who did mine said.. I’m waiting too
으딩이 Mine is like that! I think mine became like that about 10 years later. I’m planning to get revision surgeryㅠ
렌태식 But your nose seems slightly deviated to the left..
빠마 [@Rentaesik] It does seem like that tooㅠ I should go for a consultation....
사이다다 I also suddenly developed a step-off, so I’m worrying about it^^;;
빠마 [@Saidadada] What are you going to do?ㅠㅠ
사이다다 [@Ppama] I’m only now making consultation appointments, but I’m so worried it might get worse^^;;
히잇히히 It seems like the silicone implant is warped, and the step-off at the nasal tip seems to be the end of the silicone implant..
귤콩 You must be going through so much stress ㅠㅠ Stay strong, you..
퍼런파랑새 Stay strong. It will be resolved well.
이프다 Could you message me what material was used and where you had it done? Please let me know.
달빛한스푼 About 10 years ago, I had something like a horizontal dimple on the nose area... So I had a third revision surgery, and now 10 years have passed. Now my nostrils show, and they said if the silicone near the glabella moves, that’s a complication? So I’m planning to get revision rhinoplasty within this year.. Go quickly and get that revised.
빈반빈반 ㅜㅜ Stay strong. I hope it gets resolved well..
하킥키 Mine is a bit similar too, so I’m also looking into revision surgery..
밈님닉 Oh no, what should you doㅜㅜ… In cases like that, almost everyone gets revision surgery.
제우스입니다 I’m in my 4th year too, and I’m in the exact same situation right now.. A step-off formed, a horizontal line appeared, and the hospital says it’s because of scar tissue, but after living fine and then suddenly having this happen.. I’m not sure that makes sense ㅠㅠㅠ
ppp1234123… It looks like it may be slightly crooked, so I think you should go in for a consultationㅠ
코대요 Stay strong.. Once the swelling goes down completely, it might look okay.
핑코핑 You must be going through so much emotionally,, In the photos, it really does look like your nose is slightly crooked ㅠㅠ
혀니이잉이 Could you possibly give me info on where you had it done? ㅜ
미니쓔 Oh my, you must have gone through so much emotionally ㅠㅠ Maybe this is why everyone says getting your nose done can make you obsess over itㅠ
Lonasal Ahㅠㅠ You must be going through so much emotionally, really
더여너어여연 Oh my godㅜㅜ Even after time passes ㅜ that’s so upsettingㅜㅜ
빠지직 You must be going through a lot emotionally. Hang in there
다미다미10 You’ve really gone through a lot emotionally. Let’s hang in there together ㅜㅠ
파파존스핏자 Is the nasal bridge silicone and the nose tip autologous cartilage?
빠마 [@PapaJohnsPizza Yeah... septal cartilage
파파존스핏자 [@Ppama] Even if you have removal, don’t remove the autologous cartilage from the nose tip If it was used to lengthen the nose, removing it will immediately make you have an upturned nose It looks better not to have silicone I also had pulling, inflammation, and pain because of silicone, so I had it removed
다니룸 Oh no ㅜㅜ You must be so upset ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ Oh noㅜㅠㅠㅠ Fighting
예네소 You must be really upset. Hang in there, everyone here is with you
츄렂 You must have gone through a lot emotionally ㅜㅜ I’m also planning revision surgery
코끝망 How are you doing now...? ㅠㅠ
오느름잉 This is… a wrinkle..? You’re going through a lot..
코턱코턱 I also had silicone + septal cartilage, and mine is subtly like that too, so I’m looking into revision surgeryㅠ
호롤롤룡 It seems like it would be good to correct the deviation and touch it up again

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 30 One-month update after full removal / nose implant removal
- Review: I’m seriously super satisfied right now - Contracture phase: I don’t even know if it has come yet; I still don’t know whether it hasn’t come or already did (about a week ago, my nose was hard for 2-3 days... maybe that was it..)-
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 I was quoted 23 million won... is this right...
I got quoted 23 million won at OO for all autologous costal cartilage.. They say it would be 18 million if I write a review ㅠㅠ Is this right? Since I have a history of 3 surgeries if I include the AS revision, I expected it to be in the ten
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 How is ㅊㅁ??
It seems like ㅊㅁ does removals regardless of the timing. Has anyone here had a removal or surgery there??
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 Complete removal after one month due to nasal inflammation
I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 I’m deciding between Asan and RU! Has anyone had surgery at Asan?ˀ̣
My nose had inflammation, so everything has been removed, and I think there’s still a little inflammation left. Considering that, I feel like Asan might be the right choice, but I’m so torn because I don’t know if the shape will turn out pr
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 Can contracture also occur with implant-free autologous costal cartilage?
Just as the title says…..
