Hello! It has already been 1 year since my surgery, so I came to leave a review! Since high school, I had noticed that my side profile looked a bit different from my friends’, and I started feeling stressed about my gums showing a lot when I smiled and my long face shape. Even after becoming an adult, it remained a complex for me, so I decided to have surgery. At first, I didn’t know what kind of surgery I needed, so I went to consultations at two hospitals just thinking I would get estimates, and I was told that I needed double-jaw surgery because of my long face shape and protruding gums. After hearing that I needed double-jaw surgery, I thought I should choose even more carefully. The last hospital I went to checked my face more thoroughly than the other hospitals I had visited, at least by my standards, and asked me many questions about what I wanted, so right after the consultation I paid the deposit and scheduled the surgery. They said I didn’t necessarily need facial contouring or orthodontic treatment, but since I was doing it anyway, I wanted it to be as perfect as possible, so I decided to do them together. While I was hospitalized after surgery, I think what was hard was not so much the pain, but the fear that I could not breathe well because my nose was blocked and my throat was swollen. They also did nasal suction regularly, and it hurt and I hated the feeling, so I feel like I caused the nurses a lot of trouble. But they never showed that it was hard for them, and later, because they were worried that I was not eating enough, they even personally fed me soy milkㅠ.. The director also came in the evenings and always checked my condition before leaving. Seeing those things made me feel that this hospital was truly sincere toward its patients! After being discharged, the first 2 weeks were hard because I could only eat porridge and liquids. From about 1 month post-op, I was able to chew little by little, so I gradually increased what I ate. I think weeks 2-3 after surgery were really, really hard because of eating, sleeping, and brushing my teeth… Now, 1 year after surgery, I have no sensory abnormalities, and I am doing well with no problems eating! Still, if I had to pick just one thing, around 6 months after surgery, acne started appearing only over the areas where the pins were. But I recently had pin removal surgery and it was resolved, so it wasn’t a major source of stress. I also had the pin removal surgery at the same hospital, and I’m very satisfied because I have no problems chewing and the swelling was not as bad as I expected haha Like 0 Empathy emoticon Translating Would you like to save this review? +0 This is a surgery review pursuing a natural yet defined result.
