Ever since I was little, I was self-conscious about my bulbous nose, so I got surgery without much fear.
I used 3 mm silicone, septal cartilage, and ear cartilage... and I had cartilage suturing done.
I had it done at a somewhat well-known place in my neighborhood.
Everyone says it is so pretty, and because it looks so natural that people can't even tell I had surgery, no one around me knows.... Even my dad said he doesn't know what changed?
It just feels a bit more refined.
But people seeing it for the first time can tell I had surgery..... because it is just too... too pretty -_-;;; I know the reason sounds strange, but...
It is absolutely not a case of only the nose standing out in a way that doesn't suit the face.
Rather, how should I put it... it feels like, "There's no way a naturally born nose could be this pretty!"
Leaving that aside,
The foreign-body sensation is severe.
If you are thinking about nose surgery, I would really strongly advise against septal cartilage.
I am very sensitive, and the foreign-body sensation from the septum is really... no joke.
If you think about it, they brought bone that was originally in the back of my nose to the front, right? Into a place where it wasn't originally... an even more sensitive place.
Silicone is heavy too.
My skin is on the thin side, and now the blood vessels between my eyebrows pop out red all the time. Especially on tired days...
It is not just that the vessels show. It feels so heavy and pressed down that I want to rub it, touch it, and press it, but I can't because of the silicone... do you know that feeling?
Summary: If you get nose surgery, you will look prettier.
But if you are the sensitive type, stop.
The discomfort of the altered sensation becomes stronger than the joy of looking prettier.
