I took the taping off today. But it’s swollen and there’s bruising too.. Is it normally like this? Also, because the cartilage at my nasal tip was protruding, palpable, and red, I only had the silicone removed, but when I touch the nasal tip, I still feel like the cartilage is slightly protruding. Is it because they left the nasal tip cartilage in? The doctor said it was because the silicone was pushing against the cartilage, and that it would be okay once it was removed.. When I called the clinic, they said it’s probably because the swelling still hasn’t fully gone down, and told me to watch the progress and come in. Hmm..
It’s a bit higher than my pre-surgery nose. I can’t really feel much difference between when the silicone was in and after it was removed. I don’t know if it will sink in once the swelling goes down, but... I was most worried that my nose might turn upward, but fortunately there’s nothing like that so far.. I’ll post another review once all the swelling goes down.
