Before <before surgery> After <after surgery> Before <1st stitch removal> Before <2nd stitch removal> Before <week 2 + makeup> Before surgery, the outer corners looked blocked, like clam-shaped eyes, so I always filled in the triangular zone a lot. I thought if I got canthoplasty, I’d be able to wear lighter makeup and wanted my eyes to look more open, so I had the surgery! I heard lateral canthoplasty can reattach, so while looking into it, I found out their surgical method was different. When I looked up reviews, they definitely opened the corners well, so I liked that and went for a consultation. The consultant also explained everything really well, so I put down a deposit, then made time and got it done haha. After setting the surgery date, I visited again and got another detailed explanation from the consultant and the director. For the design, I asked them not to make me look too unfairly sad! The surgery didn’t hurt at all and ended quickly. After surgery, my vision was just slightly blurry? So I went home and iced it a lot. I applied ointment and used artificial tears frequently. From day 2 to day 4, I was uncomfortable because of conjunctival edema, but since I kept icing it like crazy, it went down quickly. After the first stitch removal on day 5, the edema disappeared even faster! After removing the remaining stitches on day 8, it felt completely refreshing, so I liked it. They said the redness will gradually improve, so I’m waiting, and now it’s week 2. I think the canthoplasty turned out well, so I’m happy haha.
