Until yesterday I looked like an electric fan, but when I woke up today and looked in the mirror, the swelling had gone down a lot compared with yesterday, so I got excited, took photos, and am writing a review haha. Since it’s morning, there’s probably still some swelling, but from today it’ll start going down fast, right? haha Surgery day & first-day photo - not much swelling Second photo (day 2) - face feels like it’s going to burst Third photo (day 3) - swelling around the jaw is huge. No boundary between the jaw and neck. Day 4 was just the same. My face kept feeling heavier and like it would burst Fourth photo (day 5, today) - when I woke up in the morning and looked, I found my face had become half the size compared with yesterday. It’s still swollen and the skin is hard, but the bulging cheeks strangely disappeared. Instead, the area under the chin is a bit swollen.
The last one is a pre-op photoㅎ I captured it from my iPhone album, so please check it against the date haha. My cheekbones were originally bigger than the average person’s, but my square jaw wasn’t severe. Still, the director did a full contouring shave for me, saying we should try to reduce it as much as possible in a sharp line from below the ear to the tip of the chinㅋㅋㅋ When I look in the mirror, there’s swelling, but the chin tip is pointed, so it feels fascinatingㅎ I was originally scared of bone surgery, so I went in for a nose and noble surgery consultation, but somehow listened to the doctor and booked right away. When I look in the mirror, my cheekbones are gone... I already can’t remember what I looked like a week agoㅋㅋㅋㅋ I still can’t chew anything and am only eating porridge... There’s still a long way to go... I want to hurry and meet my friends, eat meat, and drink alcohol, but I’m only on day 5 now.. But recovery seems faster than I expected haha. I’m 25 years old. And I was worried because I had surgery on the second day of my period, but my period is over now, and I don’t have much swelling, no bruising, and no pain either!! Before surgery I was really worried, and even until yesterday I was worried about what I’d do if the swelling didn’t go downㅋㅋ But now it’s to the point that it feels ridiculous that I worried... They told me to come back on Thursday to remove the stitches next to my ears, so I’ll bring the next review in 5 daysㅎ~
