It’s been 3 weeks since I had my cheekbones and square jaw contoured. I’m not dramatically sli~m yet, but it feels like the major swelling and bruising have gone down~ My sensation has come back quite a lot, but my lower jaw still feels slightly heavy. It feels like the right side of my jaw is a bit more swollen, so I asked the clinic, and they said the speed at which swelling goes down can vary depending on posture or usual eating habits (I tend to chew mostly on my right side). So these days I’m making a conscious effort to eat on the left side, and I’m also stretching by tilting my head in different directions. For food, tearing into galbi as much as I want would be too much, but when I do eat meat, I cut it into small pieces, and I also started eating kimchi recently. The thicker stem parts are still a bit scary, but eating well-fermented kimchi was okay. I hope the swelling goes down quickly so my jawbone looks slim and defined!!
