Of course, after having it done, it was better than before. And I liked the facial line itself, but once the swelling went down, my lower face had been set back too much, so I had a strong recessed-chin look. I also didn’t like how the midface looked sunken, making my face look long. About a year after surgery, sagging even started, so I was under so much stress that I ended up having revision surgery. I seriously cried every day, wondering if I had to live like this for the rest of my life. Since it was a revision surgery, I decided I would only choose from oral and maxillofacial surgery clinics. (The first surgery was at a plastic surgery clinic.) Dr. Jung Hanul at ㅅㅇㅍㅇㅅ21 was also from a university hospital, and I heard he was good at revision surgery, so I went for a consultation. Because it was revision surgery, the consultation took a long time, and during the consultation, I felt reassured by the level of expertise and felt drawn to that hospital. The director’s aesthetic sense matched mine well, so I chose this place. As you can probably see in the photos now, the sunken midface has been corrected, so my face looks very three-dimensional, and while keeping the facial line I liked as it was, only the chin tip became naturally prettier. And it has now been 10 months, and unlike last time, there is no sagging. These days I really, really like my face. In between, I also received swelling laser treatments and Shurink at the hospital. Even deciding to have double-jaw surgery once was such a huge decision, so deciding on revision surgery too was honestly really scary. Still, after having it done, I’m so happy. Seeing that I don’t feel any side effects at all so far, I think this will be the last one. I don’t even remember crying every day while looking in the mirror. If you’re considering double-jaw surgery, since it’s a major surgery, please make sure to thoroughly look for a hospital that is good at it, and I hope you get your first surgery done well at a hospital that plans carefully according to your face.
