In the past, when I first had surgery, the asymmetry wasn’t properly improved, so I struggled a lot over whether I should get revision surgery or just live like this. My parents encouraged me by saying they would support me if I wanted to do it, so I ended up getting revision surgery at ㅍㅇㅅㄹㅇ.
Comparing the old photos with my face now... You can really see why I was considering revision surgery, right? lol
Since I work in a plastic surgery clinic, I hear information here and there, and they said there’s no one as skilled in contouring as Director Lee Jin-su, so that’s what led me to decide on the surgery. Looking back now, I really think it was the right decision lol
On day 2 after my first surgery, the swelling was so severe that I kept thinking, is this really right..? I went to the hospital and kept complaining that the swelling seemed way too bad, and haha.. I still remember the manager comforting me a lot, saying it was because it was right after surgery and that they’d help manage the swelling more.
But everyone knows this, right? Facial bone surgery needs to be seen for at least 3 months, and in some cases up to half a year or even a year lol. In my case, I’ve been keeping up with progress checks and management by staying in regular communication with the doctor, so I think I’ve been able to maintain an even higher level of satisfaction~ These days, I can really feel that my appearance changed after surgery, so when I take photos I’m bolder than anyone else lol
People around me ask for hospital info when they see my changed face, and quite a few say they want to do it too. Since I did have one failed surgery before, I tend to tell them which hospital I had surgery at, but I also say that plastic surgery is something you should think through carefully before deciding. Still, honestly, if it’s here.. I’d highly recommend it lol. These days I’m more interested in skin care than plastic surgery, and they say it’s good to keep skin plump and cared for from a younger age, so I’m planning to keep getting skin care regularly~
