Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty Surgery Review

<Her usual appearance before surgery><When she smiles ㅠㅠ she felt uncomfortable because of her eyes><After upper and lower blepharoplasty!!><One month after surgery, my mom genuinely loves it><The difference before and after surgery is so clear.. I think the phrase “filial piety cosmetic surgery” is really true>I had already had double eyelid surgery myself, and as my mom got older, her eyelids started drooping. Unless she opened her eyes wide, she looked tired, and she felt fatigue when opening and closing her eyes, so I had her get surgery. I didn’t think too much about it and just had her surgery done at the same place where I had my double eyelid surgery. Honestly, I didn’t think it would be that different just because it was my mom’s surgery, and I had also gone around consulting at several hospitals myself, but at large clinics, it was too obvious that they were trying to push surgery while seeing people as money.. Since this was surgery for a middle-aged person, I wanted to go somewhere that would perform the surgery while removing as little as possible. In that sense, I thought the place where I had my double eyelid surgery was the best fit. I had also seen middle-aged people there a few times when I went to the clinic. When I went for the consultation with my mom, the consultant and the staff at the front desk were still kind, and the director explained things about my mom’s eyes with the same genuine care as when he had explained things to me. After examining her, the director said that the mucous membrane area under her eyes had greatly reduced skin elasticity, so if she only had lower blepharoplasty, the mucous membrane could flip outward or lift, and that lateral canthal fixation would also be needed. My mom and I didn’t know what that was, so we were just like ?? full of question marks, but the director kept explaining it in a way that we could understand well.. Why she couldn’t just get lower blepharoplasty, why fixation was necessary, and even what changes would happen to her eyes if she had it done.. Thinking about it now, I feel like we really bothered the director ㅠ My mom is talkative like me, so it was truly a bombardment of questions, but he never once got annoyed and explained everything really well. The first after-photo was taken only one week after surgery, but isn’t the recovery really fast? I felt like my own recovery was fast too, but honestly, my mom is middle-aged.. and they said her skin elasticity had dropped a lot, so I thought we would still need to watch it for a few weeks, but to my eyes, although there was some swelling, it already looked okay even then. I went in knowing nothing about middle-aged eye surgery, so I was relieved that the director explained everything really well, and I think it was a great decision that she didn’t get taken advantage of and had the surgery done really naturally.. Since I took my mom to the consultation, I was worried what if she acted too picky, but my mom said she liked that the director was so kind and warm ㅋㅋㅋ Anyway, after surgery, the director personally removed the stitches gently so it didn’t hurt, and maybe because they also did swelling laser treatment each time we went, her recovery seemed even faster? I would be upset if my own surgery went wrong, but honestly, you can’t help but worry several times more about a parent’s surgery.. Still, my mom is satisfied and I also truly think it turned out well, so I’m relieved. My mom says her eye fatigue has clearly gone way down, and originally she would get sleepy as soon as it was 8 p.m., but these days she’s amazed that her eyes don’t feel tired! I think this is the biggest change.. I’m so glad I had her get the surgery.
