Around 3 weeks, the swelling dropped a lot. From then on, I really started to feel like my face looked pretty. The dimensionality seen on broadcast changed dramatically, and the refined, sharper feeling increased. But what’s really fascinating is this. My nose is still round. I wanted a sharp nose and had surgery for that, so I grumbled that the director and I had different aesthetic goals and that he had left it too naturally rounded. It’s round, and people who haven’t seen me in a while or aren’t close to me can’t tell whether I had rhinoplasty, it’s that natural. But my overall image changed completely. Is this what they call a stroke of genius!!! When I think about how I went through that obsessive worry period at 2 weeks calling it a swollen nose, I still laugh now. The reason I first went to Our was this: the naturalness of how they had restored an extremely damaged nose, whether because of rhinoplasty or not, so naturally that it looked like nothing had ever happened to it. I thought, if they can make even a nose that seemed to have nothing look natural, then my existing nose would be easy, and I think that was such a good decision. They transformed my image with just a subtle difference, and our director made me feel reborn. I almost called him dad. Subtly, really naturally, in the shape that suits my face best, I think it would be good not to be stubborn and just do as the director recommends.
