This is my 2-week surgery review. I had the intranasal supports and stitches removed today. When removing the stitches, the operating room nurse handed me a doll to hold, so I got really nervous, but it ended without any pain~ Now I can finally blow my nose.. The swelling has gone down quite a bit now. I can see the thickness around the nasal ala area decreasing. The nostril shape has changed from round to oval. When sleeping, if I lay on my side instead of straight on my back, I felt like things were shifting, so I was so worried my nose might be bending, but they said it wasn’t that the nasal bridge was moving; it was a sensation caused by swelling inside the nose. Now I can sleep on my side!! I had my week-2 consultation with Director Nit Kkuk, They said 70% of the nasal bridge swelling is gone, and the nasal ala will take about another month from now. They said I need to wait a month for the line to settle as if I’d gotten a nasal ala sculpting injection.. When will that be... People around me are reacting well, saying the nasolabial angle was made nicely~ Since my nose was very upturned, there was no way it wouldn’t be noticeable.... but people seeing me for the first time don’t know I had surgery. I’ve gotten used to it now too, so when I look in the mirror, it feels like this was originally how I looked.~
