Around the end of September last year, I was stressed because my nose was low, blunt, and looked spread out. I couldn’t get nose surgery, but I heard that alar reduction might improve the spread-out look a bit, so I searched around and, after seeing reviews, went to HYB. During the consultation, the consultant said my nose was the type that would benefit from alar reduction, so I trusted that and consulted with the director, but the consultation felt perfunctory. I wanted it to be subtle, so I proceeded with alar reduction through an internal incision, but after surgery, there was a strong pinched feeling and the area under my nose protruded in a way that made it look very obviously operated on. When I asked about it, they said it would get better with time. It did get better over time, but once it got better, all traces of the surgery just disappeared, and even the pinched shape disappeared. For several months, the surgical traces were too obvious, so I barely went outside, and after that, all the traces of surgery just disappeared, so it was pointless. In the end, without any meaning to the surgery, I just looked like someone who had surgery for several months and then returned to my original nose, so I only wasted money. Also, they sutured the inside with dissolvable thread, and because of that I still felt a foreign sensation inside my nose until recently, so it’s uncomfortable.
