I had double eyelid surgery to escape 7 years of double eyelid tape since middle/high school, and I’m very satisfied!! Because of the double eyelid tape, I did have a thin double eyelid, but it kept coming undone, so I decided on double eyelid surgery. I originally wanted it to look natural along the line where I used to apply the tape (for reference, an inline crease like an inner double eyelid would also have been okay!!). After consulting with the director, I changed to an in-out line, and I still like it. I went to consultations at 3 places. The first place was too big, had a lot of people, and the consultation ended in under 10 minutes.. The second director preferred a glamorous style, so it didn’t match me and I passed. This clinic was the most natural-looking, and the director’s consultation also felt trustworthy, so I chose it. (During the consultation, the director explained while showing the surgical method? principles? posted on their blog.) Since the hospital wasn’t very large, it actually felt more private, and after surgery they gave me a lot of things like hot/cold eye masks and swelling juice, so that was nice. For week 2, the swelling went down quickly, and I really had no bruising, so from day 4 I went out and met people! I hope everyone searches a lot for information and reviews, finds a hospital and director that fit them, and succeeds!!!
