My original eyes have no upper eyelid fullness and are long horizontally without double eyelids (not pretty eyes like Kim Yuna's at all, just awkwardly long eyes). These days, even monolids are popular, but not long ago it wasn't like that. So I used double-eyelid tape and went around like that, then in my mid-20s I had buried-suture surgery for an inline crease. Completely natural. But the eyes I wanted were a deep line, so even after that I kept making them with double-eyelid tape and going around.
Still, after surgery my eyes became much more natural and a bit prettier, and then I wanted to stop using double-eyelid tape, so I had revision surgery this time. It was about 5 years after my first surgery, and in January this year.
But even now I still use double-eyelid tapeㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
The second time I had it done at a pretty famous place, and I showed a photo because I wanted eyes like Kim Yoo-jung's, but they made the crease a little thicker than my original line, and since my eyes looked like the kind that would get too close together if I had an inner canthoplasty, they did an upper canthoplasty instead. Revision surgery with buried-suture, inline crease, and upper canthoplasty!!! But really, it's just eyes that are a little thicker than my old onesㅠㅠ
No one knows I had surgery, and they look the same. Still, the surgery ended without any problems, but I'm wondering if I should get revision surgery again. It's not an ugly eye, so I thought maybe I should just live like this... but I still don't like it, and I can't keep using double-eyelid tape until I'm oldㅠㅠ So I'm just thinking that maybe I'll have revision surgery later, but people whose eyes turn out really well on the first try are amazing.. Maybe it's because I didn't know much and didn't do all sorts of things, but when it comes to eye surgery, I think you really need to research it carefully!
