Not tiny closed comedones, but after something like inflammatory? acne that got red, became a bit widely raised, and didn’t go away quickly appeared on my nose, I had a scar that stayed slightly raised and didn’t disappear for years. Is this called a hypertrophic scar? They say it usually forms on the nose. Honestly, even if other people can’t really notice it, you yourself know it, right? Every time I looked in the mirror, it really bothered me, ugh. When I first looked into it, no matter how much I searched, I couldn’t find reviews for symptoms like this, so it was kind of frustrating At first, a neighborhood dermatology clinic said that even if it was treated with laser, it could rise up similarly again, and when I searched online, I saw reviews saying it became raised back to how it was even after laser, so I gave up and just lived with it for years. But it kept bothering me, so I searched and searched online again, and eventually found a dermatology clinic around Apgujeong and went there. Since the area was the nose, I worried a lot that if I messed with it for no reason, there might be problems like pigmentation or something, but after shaving it down with a laser and going about 5 times over 2 months for continued care? treatment?, seriously, wow~ I got rid of one complex that had bothered me every time I saw it for years. I wish I had known earlier.. For anyone worried about or looking into something similar to mine, I really wanted to let you know that it can go back to how it was! haha
