In my life, I’ve had nose filler (2 years), lip filler (1 year, but it only lasted a few months)
And I had double eyelid surgery in Apgujeong, Seoul, at a place that’s extremely famous for revision eye surgery.. (I wanted thin, natural double eyelids, and I chose this place because revision surgery there creates a thin line.) Right after surgery, the swelling difference between my right and left eyes was really severe, but I trusted them when they said it would get better and went back to my family home. However, my double eyelids became uneven, and one side basically turned into an inner double eyelid. Up until then, even though the line was thin, I was somewhat satisfied because I had ptosis correction done together, so my eyes opened wider.. But in less than 5 months, the double eyelid came undone, and when I went to the clinic, they revised the right side, which looked worse (and even then they only put 2 stitches at the outer end)... But then a few months later, the right side came undone again along with the left, so I went back to the clinic and asked what we should do about this. Only then did they say they would revise both sides..
I’m going to make an appointment soon, and if even this surgery goes wrong, I’m going to ask for a refund, though I don’t know if they’ll give one.. Sigh, I’ve gone back and forth to the clinic 6-7 times, and even just the transportation costs..
I’m hoping this surgery goes well.. I guess with cosmetic surgery, the answer really is to find a place that does it right the first time.
I’m also planning facial contouring surgery after the revision surgery, so I’m worriedㅠ
