I went around for my first rhinoplasty consultation!

First of all, the consultant in charge was really kind and pretty.. I guess using pretty people makes the place feel more trustworthy.?? I went to a place in Gangnam with one head director, and there was almost no wait, and the consultation fee was free, so I went without much pressure! But it felt like the director was very firm about the aesthetic he pursues.. I said I barely have a hump, so I didn’t want it shaved down, but he said it needed to be shaved. When I asked if we couldn’t just leave it, he said there really isn’t much of one, but if silicone is inserted, it would look uneven, so we can’t… But I don’t want silicone, so I said that even if it turns out a little less pretty, I don’t want to use it. He did say that’s my choice, but he kept talking in the direction of definitely using silicone + autologous costal cartilage I want rhinoplasty because of a bulbous nose? like my nose looks a bit spread out, but he said alar base reduction is also absolutely necessary, so the scale kept getting bigger and I’m conflicted I wanted to do it as much as possible without implants, even if the effect is a bit less, and I didn’t want to touch too much… But the director said if I do that, there won’t be much improvement even after surgery, and I’ll want to do it again, so then honestly not doing it would be best Still, everyone was kind, and it was nice that I consulted directly with the director and he explained things in detail I’m just starting to worry about rhinoplasty itself I definitely felt that in-person consultations are different from researching online..

Did they say alar base reduction is necessary too? If possible, it’s better to think carefully before doing reduction

[@여어엉이] Yeah, that’s why I’m even more conflicted When I asked if I really had to do alar base reduction, he said that’s the only way to control the spread I thought that if the nasal tip is raised, it would gather in to some extent, and I’d be satisfied with that amount of gathering My bulbous nose isn’t at an absurd level… But the director was a bit firm

Did you only go to one place? Try going to other places too. Different doctors may say different things

[@밤넴] Yeah, I think it's definitely better to get my nose done in Seoul I looked at places in Busan or Daegu too, but to me they kind of had that old-school nose job vibe, like you can tell at a glance they had nose surgery? so I prefer something more naturally glamorous!

[@량뇽] I like a natural look too. People were recommending ㅇㅇ, but it looked too much like, "I'm a surgically enhanced beauty." Personally, I don't want it curved like a slide; I want a straight line.

[@밤넴] Because there are a lot of people who regret alar base reduction after doing it, and when it looks obvious, it can look really obvious! Other surgeries are like that too, but this is even harder to reverse
