Review after more than one month since natural adhesion (buried suture method) + epicanthoplasty + fat removal! I had surgery at iFit last December, and went with an in-out line. Because the distance between my eyes and eyebrows is narrow, I thought a thick line would make my impression look too heavy, so we set a moderate thickness that suited me as much as possible, and the director designed it very meticulously! It was my first surgery, but it did not hurt much, and even when the anesthesia wore off, all I felt was a slightly numb, tingling sensation. I think I only did cold compresses once or twice a day for about 2-3 days. Except for one slightly bruised area on the upper eyelid where fat was removed, I did not bruise much, so I do not think I looked unbearable. And I really had almost no swelling, so even though it had only been 1-2 weeks after surgery, I could go out without any trouble. I was so relieved... I thought I would have to live in a hat for a month, but not at all, and everyone around me was surprised every time they saw me, saying the swelling was very minimal and that I had become naturally prettier. The epicanthoplasty was natural too, but the change was definite!! Because it looked natural, I wondered if I should have asked to open it a bit more, but when I looked at old photos, the space between my eyes definitely looked wider than now. A lot of people said it hurts when the epicanthoplasty stitches are removed, so I was a little worried, but it did not hurt at all. It only felt like a slight prickling, as if a tiny bit of skin was being lightly pinched by pointed tweezers, so it was fine. For the epicanthoplasty scar, from around the 2-week mark the skin became red, firm, and very itchy, but after that week it seemed to calm down. Later, when I went in for a follow-up, they said the scar was not forming much and was healing well, so it was not to the point of needing a separate scar injection, which I was glad about. The hardest things after surgery were not being able to wash my hair + wash my face for 1 week after surgery... haha It is definitely easier to put on makeup and easier to open my eyes, so I am thinking I made the right choice getting the surgery. I will leave another review after half a year...!
