I had rhinoplasty on 2024.12.13, and my nostrils have become nostrils that totally diverge(?) (kind of like the left side is a decreasing linear function and the right side is an increasing linear function..). My midface also became longer than before, my philtrum became way too short, and my overall impression changed to look like a big-nosed person.. My natural nose felt like a pig nose with large nostrils that were very upturned, and from the side it was a nose with no bridge, like Anna from Frozen. For the surgery, 2 mm silicone was put into the nasal bridge, and ear cartilage and septal cartilage were used to make the nasal tip, with the columella lowered slightly. The director said my nose skin is very thick and my original nasal tip was very bulbous, so it would take 2 years for even the residual swelling to fully go down. Also, I’m so stressed about the nostrils that I feel like I’m dying, but he said the current nostril shape will become rounder as time passes. I tried to believe him, but even after looking through countless plastic surgery reviews, I’ve seen reviews saying the line became slimmer after swelling went down, but I haven’t seen reviews where the nostril shape changed, so I’m really anxious. Most decisively, it’s hard to look at my nose, which has become even worse than my natural nose, so I want to have total removal about 1 year after surgery. But I’ve seen many reviews saying that if you do total removal, it becomes lower than the natural nose and the shape also becomes strange over time, so I’m really scared.. 1. In conclusion, if I do total nose removal, can it return to something similar to my natural nose..? 2. To rebuild the nasal tip support(?) firmly again, would they need to harvest ear cartilage again? 3. When doing total nose removal, would it be better to do it at the hospital that previously operated on me and knows my original natural nose, or should I look again for a hospital good at total nose removal? 4. If anyone knows a hospital good at total nose removal, please recommend one.. 5. Is there really no dramatic change in the nostrils after surgery..
