I finally went and got the lateral canthoplasty restoration I had been putting off for so long. Because my first surgery went wrong, the area became lifted and D-shaped. After my first restoration, the shape was corrected to some extent, but it still wasn’t properly resolved. I went around to consultations at several places and ended up having it done by the director who understood the direction I wanted best. I hope it turns out well.. I’ll post a review once the swelling goes down! + Review after 30 days 1. Pre-surgery condition Left - The shape was V-shaped, but the mucous membrane was lifted, causing dry eye and tearing when my eyes became watery Right - The shape was D-shaped Actually, this was my second restoration, so it had improved a lot after the first restoration, but as I wrote above, there were still many things I wasn’t satisfied with. And I wanted to get lower canthoplasty, but I was worried because of the dry eye that developed after surgery, and I was also very concerned about what would happen if something like eyelid ectropion occurred. So I searched through this community for several hospitals known for doing this well, narrowed them down, went for consultations, and had the surgery at the hospital that suited me best. The result: I’m satisfied! The director listened well and understood the direction I wanted, so I was able to feel comfortable getting it done. Honestly, plastic surgery also comes down to luck and can be a difficult decision, but I really think it’s right to go to a director you feel drawn to and who fits you well. I hope everyone reading this also has a good surgery, gets good results, and succeeds!!
