I decided to have double-jaw surgery because of the appearance-related stress caused by malocclusion and a protruding lower jaw. After looking up reviews on many cafes and blogs and going to consultations in person, I chose Iyugu Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery because the director and consultant gave me a sincere and thorough consultation. Haha It has already been 6 months since my double-jaw surgery! Especially starting around month 3, my facial contours gradually settled more naturally, and I could visibly see my jawline and cheekbone line becoming more refined. Thanks to that, I felt like I had become even prettier, and people around me often told me my face looked smaller and my impression had become softer, so I felt good! I still had to be careful with hard or tough foods, but I could basically eat without discomfort, and every time I looked in the mirror, my satisfaction grew as I saw myself changing. The swelling has not gone down completely, but it has decreased a lot, and as sensation gradually returned, daily life became much more comfortable. Haha By months 4 to 5, most of the swelling had gone down, and my facial lines became naturally refined. Even when smiling or talking, I looked much more natural, and every time I looked in the mirror, I liked my slimmer jawline and balanced face. It felt amazing to see how different I looked in photos, and I could feel myself becoming prettier little by little! Eating also became much freer, so I could eat not only soft foods but also foods that required chewing strength without any problem. I also got increasingly used to how my teeth fit together, so I was functionally satisfied too. As time passes, my satisfaction with the results keeps growing, and I really think it was the right choice. Now that my jawline has become more refined, my face has changed to look more dimensional and balanced, which I’m satisfied with. At first, I didn’t know I would change this much, but I really like it and feel proud! I’m looking forward to it because I think it will get even better if I continue managing it consistently ^-^!
