Before Before Before Before Before Before Before Hello Time really flies. It’s already my 1-year review!
Last January, because of malocclusion, I had mandibular surgery, not double-jaw surgery, plus 2 types of facial contouring (square jaw, chin) at Y Oral. To say only the conclusion, I think it was one of the best choices I’ve made in my life Now that my complex is gone, I feel so comfortable and happy when talking and smiling. At first, I was a little stressed because of the swelling, but in the end, time really was the answer..! To say something obvious, now I can open my mouth wide very well, and the bones have become completely firm again like before, so I can eat tough and hard foods without any problem. Right after surgery, my lip muscles felt a little strange, but now they have completely recovered, and the sensation in the lower right area is not exactly the same as before surgery, but it isn’t to the point that it bothers me in daily life, so I’m going to keep watching it a bit longer! I’m still undergoing orthodontic treatment, and I hope it ends within this year haha..
It’s absolutely not a small surgery, so I can’t recommend it lightly, but as I am now, I absolutely have no regrets.
