After<Day 1 after>Before<Before, nostril side>Before<Before, side view>Hello everyone!! I came to leave a day 1 review of my nose surgery
I actually don't usually post reviews, but a lot of people were saying there are too few reviews for this clinic and even though it's only day 1, I'm extremely satisfied, so I thought I'd share the information
It was my first surgery, and I only had the nasal tip touched using ear cartilage + no implant! My natural nose was really... a hopeless nose with a low bridge + hump + congenital pinching, etc. Fortunately, I did have some nasal bridge, so even if the hump was rasped down, my goal was to proceed only with the nasal tip without silicone Not all silicone is dangerous, but contracture.. scared me haha...
I only went to consultations at ㄱㅅ and ㄱㅇㅈ (I had originally booked ㅅㅇ near Sinnonhyeon Station too, but my previous consultation ran late and traffic was bad, so I couldn't go..ㅠ) My criteria were: not factory-style + natural-looking + a clinic that is conscientious toward patients..!
Originally, because reviews for ㄱㅇㅈ were so good in this community, I thought I would do it at ㄱㅇㅈ, but after going around for consultations, I realized there really is a doctor who fits me separately Dr. Gok was so kind and explained things so carefully that I trusted him During the consultation, he took multiple photos and even checked inside my nose, which I liked. Of course, the other clinic was good too, but I felt more that Dr. Gok was a better fit for me. However, even for a first surgery, the price is a bit harsh... Even though only the nasal tip was being touched, it cost the same as doing the bridge too, so I did hesitate a bit
Most of all, I liked that here they said it seemed fine to lift only the nasal tip without rasping the hump They said that if the hump were rasped, the nasal bridge might actually look more blunt Instead, the side line of the nose could have a slight curve, but for me, naturalness was more important, so I thought it would be fine to have some curvature as long as it didn't look obviously surgical
On the day of surgery, everything went very smoothly It was my first time under sleep anesthesia, and I didn't even have time to count numbers. They put in the sedative and I fell asleep after about 5 minutes I regained consciousness around the time they were stitching my nose, and I could feel the stitching lol I woke up well, slept for about another hour in the recovery room, then went home
They said my original nasal tip was unusual, so while raising the height, they tried to make it not look pinched and to give volume to the upper nostril area However, there wasn't quite enough ear cartilage, so they used both sides, and it was unusual that the incision was made at the front of the ear (I think some people may have different preferences about this part. I was told in advance and proceeded, so I was okay with it)
What I really like after surgery is probably because I only did the nasal tip and didn't even shave the hump, so there was less dissection, there is surprisingly almost no swelling..! It's hard to believe it was done with an open approach...
And it's also amazing that there is almost no pain at the surgical site I heard ears hurt so much, but even though both ears were cut, they don't hurt that much, so I'm not even taking painkillers Instead, my butt hurts from the intramuscular injection lol
The photo was taken earlier after dressing in the recovery room. Of course the front nasal tip is swollen, but the rest is hardly swollen Needless to say, the line is great lololol
I also really like that the doctor personally handles the postoperative care When I said I live near the clinic, they told me to come for dressing again tomorrow, and I was touched...
It's my first time posting photos of my face online, and on top of that, with unwashed hair and a haggard bare face, but I made up my mind and wrote this to share information, so please take a good look!!
+) Since many people are asking about the price.. If you go to the clinic-info section, there is a lot of pricing information posted! Most are nose surgeries, and you can view them even without premium review access!!
++) Recovery process up to day 7 I wrote it separately because the post got long!
