It’s been over three months since my surgery now I’m really satisfied with the shape and silhouette,, but I like working out, so I used to do yoga, weight training, and heavy lifting Now that three months have passed, I’ve slowly started exercising again but every time I use my chest muscles, it feels like the silicone implant is moving, and it actually does move,,,,.. How is it for everyone? Is it okay? Before surgery, the director said there wouldn’t be any problem but the feeling when I can sense my chest muscles moving is really unpleasant and I can only put in about 20% of my strength.. Every time I work out, I kind of? regret getting cosmetic surgery.. I guess I just have to live like this..? If anyone here really, insanely loves working out, make sure to rule out the dual-plane method for surgery.. I think cutting the pectoralis major is something that really needs to be considered carefully
케이스티포이 Ugh........ I haven’t exercised that intensely, so I didn’t know, but I think I roughly get what it feels like
슈가지미 That’s why it’s usually not really recommended to people whose job is exercise or who enjoy exercising itself It probably will keep moving..
우기우 I exercise a lot too, and one hospital recommended subfascial placement because of that, while another hospital recommended dual-plane because I’m thin and it would show If you do dual-plane and exercise, can you clearly see the implant moving in the mirror..?
해피해디 [@우기우] If there’s even a cleavage groove, it looks like the skin is moving.. It’s so creepy. You can’t tell when wearing a T-shirt,, but with dual-plane, most people seem to have slight animation,,
뿜빵빰 Yeah yeah yeah… seems like it can’t be helped I’m not the type to build my body intensely, so I did dual-plane, but for people who like exercising, I want to say breast surgery is not recommended… It’s seriously uncomfortable
둡두뷰 Does it show and feel uncomfortable even with exercises like yoga or Pilates??
wbwbwbwb Whoa, I love CrossFit, but they said I have to do dual-plane because I don’t have enough tissue, so should I just live with an AA cup…? …… Why even? They said if I go subpectoral it could become bowl-shaped.
해피해디 [@케이스티포이] Even when I’m not exercising, I use my chest muscles more than I expected in daily life too
해피해디 [@슈가지미] Right… I just gave up lololol I hope everyone knows before getting surgery
해피해디 [@뿜빵빰] Me too… I have to live giving up chest exercises for life, and back exercises are uncomfortable too if the chest muscles get involved
해피해디 [@둡두뷰] When stretching or doing exercises that lengthen the body, it’s actually more okay than expected, but if you do push-ups and things like that, the upper part of the chest definitely twitches slightly
해피해디 [@wbwbwbwb] If you love high-intensity workouts, even if it can be noticeable, I’d still want to choose subpectoral.... I just hope you decide carefully.
투투비투 I’m also scheduled for dual-plane, but after seeing a post written by a community member, I’m overthinking whether to switch to subpectoral… And if you’re into exercise, it’s even more worrying.
해피해디 [@투투비투] If you do lots of exercise, this really seems like a hard dilemma. At first, it might be because I haven’t used my chest muscles for 3 months, but I do feel my strength is much weaker now Also, push-ups and pull-ups always involve the pectoralis major, and because the pectoralis major is split and the implant is draped over it, even if surgery is done with implant movement minimized as much as possible, I wonder if it’s possible to keep my previous strength while making the implant not move at all. If you exercise regularly, I’m curious how surgeons will explain dual-plane at consultation.
투투비투 [@해피해디] I’ve heard it differs by hospital Some say after an exam that subpectoral is possible, so because of movement they recommend subpectoral. Another clinic said subpectoral may be possible, but with dual-plane it doesn’t mean implant movement is guaranteed not to happen, and even with subpectoral some people still develop it, so it’s different for each person. So they said that just choosing subpectoral doesn’t mean animation won’t happen. They also explained the types of movement: they said some movement is normal, but when animation exceeds that, it becomes a problem. Still, when I think about rippling and naturalness, dual-plane also feels like it might be right… it’s really difficult.
2562 How is it when doing back or shoulder exercises, not chest workouts?
해피해디 [@2562] I’m over 6 months now, and maybe because I’m adapted, I barely feel movement anymore. Maybe because I’m using less focus? It still seems to move a little..! But I do yoga, weight training, and swimming.
2562 [@해피해디] Is the visible movement of the implant still the same? A few days ago when I was exercising I felt it wriggle, and I was so shocked.
해피해디 [@2562] It seems to have lessened a bit, but it’s not completely gone. Maybe it’s because I’m getting used to it… Anyway, I’ll just live with it.
무보코끗굿굿 Aside from chest exercises with heavy weight lifting, after how many months did you start again?
해피해디 [@무보코끗굿굿] 4 months! Now it’s been over 6 months, and I do things like pull-ups even if I feel it a little,,
