1-year facial contouring surgery recovery process

I had a severe complex about my appearance, so last summer I had cheekbone + square jaw surgery at a famous hospital in Gangnam. Since it’s been 1 year, I’ll write as much as I can remember. The surgery is performed under general anesthesia, and after the surgery, once you wake up from anesthesia, there is a strong chemical-like feeling from inside. Because the surgery is done by making openings inside the mouth? they insert something like a blood hose? about the size of a straw for a day (blood comes out from where the hole is inserted), and you go home the next day. That one day is the most painful. For one or two months after surgery, you wear something called a compression band. For 1-2 weeks, your mouth doesn’t open well, you can only use mouthwash instead of brushing, and you can only eat soft foods like porridge, and this period is also really hard. I think the stitches in my mouth were removed around one month, and from then on I practiced opening my mouth, so it gradually became like normal. I’m satisfied with the contouring effect, and since it’s only been 1 year and maybe because I don’t have much fat in my cheeks, I don’t have cheek sagging so far.
