I finally had my 5th revision surgery.

After a hard time going around to consultations, I finally had surgery today. Before surgery, I had a 3D CT scan to check the condition of my nose and find out what the problems were. They explained the problems with my nose in detail. I also asked what I was curious about. Everything was good, but although the director said he would not use the septal cartilage, he said he did not know how much septal cartilage was left... He said he would only know after opening it... If there were variables, he might have to use costal cartilage. The extra cost would be enormous. Money is one thing, but just to do one nose, I could get a scar on my butt, and I might even get a scar on my chest area Sigh When I asked if there was no other way, he said cadaver cartilage was also an option, but because I had revision surgery several times, he wanted to recommend my own cartilage.. Still, I agreed, thinking this would be my last surgery. There are areas where septal cartilage can be harvested, after all. It is better than just taking it recklessly, and the doctor would be in a difficult position too~ What can he do if he opens the nose and there is no cartilage? I thought it was better than having something else I did not know about put in. First, the CT results. I had rhinitis and sinusitis, so the director also prescribed sinusitis medication. And then finally, the operating table~ When they harvested the dermis, the buttock anesthesia was local. It only stung when the injection went in and did not hurt at all. I did not want to hear the feeling of cutting with a knife or sounds like a scalpel, so I covered my ears with my hands. After covering my ears for a while, I got used to it and took my hands away again. When they removed the ear cartilage, I was sedated because they said that part hurts. After that, I kept waking up. They said they put me to sleep 3 times. Anyway, when they opened it, the periosteum was very damaged, so they used Gore-Tex. At this hospital, when they use Gore-Tex, they compress it so the shape does not change much. Since I was awake, I could hear even the sound of the Gore-Tex being compressed I talked a lot with the director, and asked everything I was curious about... I remember it all. I think I was awake for over an hour while they operated. I could feel them removing scar tissue inside my nose too... Oh right~ The thing I was most worried about was the septal cartilage I asked about that too. Fortunately, the director said there was some Hahaha, they said they did not take costal cartilage Anyway, I had surgery while awake for over an hour. I listened to a lot of music too. And it did not hurt at all. There was a little stinging at the end, but it was bearable. At the end, after suturing the columella, they sat me up and showed me my nose shape in the mirror. I was very satisfied. But the director said that although he did it, because my skin is extremely thin, one side may show a boundary line... It may not show either... If it does show, he said he would take care of everything himself... I do not know why people get general anesthesia for rhinoplasty Anyway, I came straight home. Maybe because I did not have much anesthesia, I was conscious too... As soon as I got home, I was hungry, so I wrapped rice in seaweed and ate it. The surgery is over and the result is not out yet, but the reason I am posting this is not to promote the hospital, and I am not a broker either. The only reason I am posting this is, when I read reviews, I am a victim too, but I also saw many other people saying the director put in strange things the patient did not even know about, so I wanted you to use this as a reference. Even though there is stuffy cotton inside my nose, I feel very good today. Ah~ but they told me to be careful when sitting, but maybe because of the painkillers, I do not feel pain, so I end up not sitting carefully.
