As the title says, I had nose surgery in 2013. I had it done in the summer that year, so it has been exactly 4 years. Honestly, I joined this community this time because I had made up my mind to remove the silicone implant. In hopes of a successful silicone removal, I want to write down my nose surgery review, which has already faded in my memory..
Before cosmetic surgery, I had a complex about my nose in everyday life. It was not severe. I just looked in the mirror and thought it would be pretty if I fixed only my nose. It was low and flat. When I looked at celebrities, their noses were all pretty. So I thought lightly about nose surgery and got it done on impulse..ㅋㅋ
Because of that, first of all, I did not like the shape of my nose. I had surgery with silicone and tip cartilage tying, and while I liked the shape from the front, from the side it looked a little like a upturned nose. Honestly, I was very unhappy with it, but people around me said it was not enough to worry about, and I was afraid to have revision surgery, so I have lived with it exactly like that for four years.
Then, whenever I came across posts about nose surgery complications while browsing online, my heart would pound all night and I could not sleep many times.(I am already quite timid) My skin also tends to break out easily, and the doctor said that if I developed a major inflammation in my nose, contracture could occur, so I was even more scared.
Whenever my nose turned even a little red or stung, I worried about complications and stayed up all night.
So I always lived with the thought in my heart that I should remove the silicone, and then today, all of a sudden, the area where the silicone was inserted started throbbing and felt numb. It swelled and felt tight, just like right after I had the surgery 4 years ago. I will not know until I go to the hospital on Monday whether it is a complication or not(I sincerely hope it is not) but after all the worrying I have done every time, I finally decided to have it removed. I am going to remove the silicone from the nose I did not even like the shape of... I guess I should not have rushed into anything related to the body. After staying up all night, looking into various things, and joining this community, writing down my nose surgery review from 4 years ago and my honest feelings has at least calmed me down.
