Nose consultation review and recommendations, please..

I went to 2 out of 4 places. It would be my first nose surgery, and my desired look was a natural straight nose with the columella slightly lowered. Both had an anesthesiologist on site, CCTV viewing available, aftercare, etc., basically all the things you’d normally need to check. Common opinions: Nasal bridge: - It is slightly on the high side, but it spreads out to the sides, so the side profile is okay, but from the front it lacks dimension - There is a hump. Rather, the nasal tip is low and rounded, a not-severe bulbous nose, and the columella is slightly retracted, so the nostrils show from the front, but not as bad as I thought, and it’s not an upturned nose/ski-slope nose. My skin is not particularly thick. My face is small and my face shape is decent. Both hospitals’ overall assessment was that I’m a good case where surgery would not be difficult and has a high chance of turning out well.. ㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡ First hospital: The director came in and said, “A semi-natural-glam look? If you want that, we need to put in silicone,” but then said, “Still, your bridge isn’t low, so let’s not put in too much silicone. Instead of shaving down the hump, let’s preserve it and put in as little as possible, about 3-4 mm. You want a natural look, and your face won’t suit too much height. If we raise it too much, your eyes may look too close together, your midface may look too long, or it may look unnatural.” They said not to do osteotomy or alar reduction. That I don’t need them. A man’s nose looks strange if it’s too thin. (I was puzzled because my nasal bridge spreads out, but they said I didn’t need osteotomy.) For the tip, they asked what material I wanted and it felt like, “If you want to use autologous costal cartilage, go ahead~” They said whether the septal cartilage can be used has to be seen after opening it up. But if I want autologous costal cartilage, they said they would use autologous costal cartilage as I want, slightly lower the tip/columella, and create a pretty straight nose with a nice nasolabial angle. Right after surgery, it may look like a straight-slightly ski-slope nose. They said that’s because of swelling, so wait. If it’s straight immediately after surgery, that’s actually more of a problem. Cost 6.5 million / consultation with consultant about 15 minutes, director about 10 minutes. Surgery time about 3 hours (autologous costal cartilage) It was a very ordinary consultation, neither especially kind nor unkind. They answered questions well too. They seemed skilled, but it felt a bit like a large hospital, and the biggest things that bothered me were that they didn’t take a CT and just decided the material, and that they said the material could only be decided after opening it up. Overall, it also seemed like they make slightly glamorous straight noses, so that bothered me a little, but still it wasn’t bad. ㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡ Second hospital: They recommended no implant. Since my bridge is not low and the tip is just a bit low, they said if they align the height to the hump, fill the tip and the middle part of the bridge, and do osteotomy on the spread-out sides, a natural, slim straight line would come out. If I want the bridge a little higher, they recommended definitely putting in 3 mm or less of silicone, and personally said not putting it in would look much more natural and prettier. They said my face itself would look awkward if the nose were raised a lot. My face is small and the features are well arranged, but if only the nose is long and high, it could end up looking like Yookxx. Tip: (while checking the CT) They said my septal cartilage seems sufficient. If it’s somehow insufficient, they would use a little ear cartilage, but that probably won’t happen. Personally, if the septal cartilage is sufficient, they recommend septal cartilage, but if I want to use autologous costal cartilage, I can. However, they said they don’t really know why you would avoid using sufficient septal cartilage and use costal cartilage instead. Personally, they do not recommend donated rib cartilage because the possibility of side effects is relatively high. They said they would do this according to what the patient wants. Inflammation or contracture is not about the material, but about their skill and aftercare. They said they would make sure there is no collapse from not using enough septal cartilage. Looking at the CT, there is enough material. Columella/nostrils/nasolabial angle: When I said I hate ski-slope noses and upturned noses, they said that is the type of nose they hate the most, and for men it has to be straight. They also said a straight nose would suit my face best, and they were glad I wanted that. They said they would align it exactly with the hump line and lower the nasolabial angle nicely while preserving it. Cost 3.3 million (review, same-day booking) / even if using autologous costal cartilage, sedation anesthesia (they said it isn’t a surgery long enough to justify taking the risks of general anesthesia. They’re fast with their hands too, so they expected surgery time to be about 1 hour) Consultation with consultant about 10 minutes, director about 30 minutes. They were really so kind, and when I brought about 30 questions written on my iPad, they said I was very thorough and did well, took the iPad, and answered every single one. Personally, I felt like my desired look matched so well, and honestly I’m more greedy about the shape than the height, so hearing no implant made me lean that way a bit.. Also, I liked that they took a CT, showed before-and-after expectations in 3D, and consulted so kindly and in detail. It kind of felt like they really wanted to do my nose..? ㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡ Honestly, I’m a bit drawn to the second hospital, but I’m worried that with no implant, the before-and-after difference might not be that big.. I’m also very concerned about side effects and really don’t want revision surgery, and I’ve heard a lot that you should make your first surgery as glamorous as possible, so I don’t know what to do..
