I had 4 teeth extracted, and it has now been 2 and a half years since I started orthodontic treatment~ Before braces, my lower teeth were crooked and overlapped a lot, so food would get stuck easily when I ate, and my mouth also looked a little protruded, which is why I started orthodontic treatment! In a few weeks I’ll be going to get my retainer removed, but personally the hardest things during treatment were wearing the rubber bands and the wire poking my gums and the inside of my mouth~ They were so annoying when talking and eating, and having sores inside my mouth was constant~ The extractions were actually less painful than that! But since my gums have always been bad, I’m a little worried because a big black triangle formed in the gum area of my lower teeth, though I’m satisfied that my teeth are aligned now! If any of you are currently in orthodontic treatment, I hope it all goes well for everyone^^
