It’s been over 2 years since my braces ended, and personally, unless your teeth have a lot of problems, I don’t really recommend orthodonticsㅠㅠ The hassle of having to keep wearing retainers or those mouthguard-like retainers you put in when sleeping for longer than the treatment timeㅠㅠ And teeth whitening, which I could tolerate before braces, became too painful to do well after the braces were removed. Of course, pain tolerance differs from person to person, but the clinic explained that when the braces come off, tiny cracks can form in the teeth. So whitening can feel more sensitive than before... That was just my very personal opinion
