I had rhinoplasty 14 years ago after finishing the college entrance exam and before starting university. I’m so, so satisfied with it. It’s one of the best things I’ve ever done in my life lol
My nose had no bridge at all, and the tip and alar area were plump and bulbous. My nostrils were extremely small, and it was an upturned nose. When I smiled or frowned, my nose looked like a chestnut lolol I went to the clinic hoping to improve the upturned nose and reduce the alar width, and while I was at it, I also planned to get a consultation for double-eyelid surgery and proceed with that too. But the director advised me that I didn’t really need double-eyelid surgery. For the nose, he said correcting the upturned nose and alar reduction would require external incisions, which could leave scars, so it would be more natural and safer to make incisions inside the nostrils and bring the nasal tip together using silicone and ear cartilage. He suggested inserting 1 mm or maybe 1.5 mm silicone.
First of all, he didn’t push me to do this and that excessively, and he suggested the most realistic and natural method, so I trusted him a lot. I didn’t even go anywhere else and went ahead with it right away, and I ended up with a really, really, really, really natural and pretty nose. After seeing my nose, my mom, my older brother’s ex-girlfriend, a friend, and even a friend who had the side effect of her nasal tip turning black after two failed rhinoplasties all went to this clinic and had surgery, and they were all satisfied. Really, everyone’s nose became higher and prettier in such a natural, undetectable way.
At the time, in Ilsan, the director who did my nose was somewhat famous for double-eyelid surgery, so I saw many friends around me get double-eyelid surgery from him. But personally, I think he’s more of a master at rhinoplasty than double eyelids lolol Honestly, it was such a long time ago, and there are many doctors who are good now, but if I were to have surgery again right now, I think I’d still go to that director. After rhinoplasty, I heard so many times that my nose was really pretty, and because it’s so natural, people can’t even imagine that it was surgery. (Some friends even asked in amazement how my nose could be so pretty and whether I’d had surgery lol)
For 14 years, I’ve had no side effects? No discomfort? None at all, and my satisfaction has always been the highest lolol (My rhinitis is severe, so I blow my nose dozens of times a day, but there’s no problem at all lolol I also like exercise, so I’ve bumped my nose a lot, but it’s totally fine) It’s not the dramatic, picture-like high, sharp, thin nose that people these days want. But my pre-surgery nose was truly so awful, and it’s amazing that he made that nose into this lolololol I really want to recommend this place to everyone.
My niece was born... and she looks so much like me that even her nose is exactly like my pre-surgery nose lol My dad and mom jokingly say that her aunt also used to have an ugly nose and got it fixed, so they’ll get their granddaughter’s nose fixed later too lolol
The top row of photos is of course before, in order: 100 days old - age 2 - high school The bottom row is after photos, in order: at rest - side profile - smiling That’s it.
Actually, I’m applying for a level-up because I want to get other information... but the only plastic surgery I’ve had was rhinoplasty 14 years ago... It’s been a really long time, but I hope this helps even a little!
