I’ll post a 2-week review of my nose-tip implantless surgery. I usually have a defined nasal bridge, but my tip was blunt and droopy, so I was always unhappy with it. So I made up my mind and finally went through with the surgery. I strongly pursue a natural look, so I didn’t want to make the tip noticeably higher; I wanted just a subtle change that only I would notice and feel satisfied with. The surgeon discouraged it a little, but I insisted on keeping it very natural, and it was done my way. It was hard up until removing the nasal packing after surgery, and because of swelling I had to sleep upright, which made my lower back hurt a lot. But I endured it for my nose. And once the splint was finally removed, it felt so relieving. The nose is still a bit swollen and tense and still feels like it’s held up a little, but it should settle as more time passes. I am so satisfied that I truly regret not having done it earlier. My nose tip is sharper, and I’m really happy that it doesn’t spread out when I smile. And above all, I’m very satisfied because Dr. Placer was incredibly kind.
