Hi My third rhinoplasty was 10 years ago, and I think I had silicone + nasal tip cartilage done… Since yesterday, all of a sudden, when I lightly stroke downward or press the lower nasal bridge? nasal tip with my finger with just a little force, like in the picture below, it aches slightly like a bruise… When I press around that area with two fingers, I do not feel anything, but right there! Especially when I press the area slightly to the left of the center, it is not really pain, but I feel a faint aching sensation Could this be an early stage of contracture? There is no visible change, and compared with 10 years ago, if I wonder whether the nasal tip has gone up a bit~? it looks the same… I do not have a pulling or tightening sensation, heat, or swelling, but maybe it is just in my head, I do feel a foreign-body sensation. But ever since my nose surgery, I have always had the feeling that something was sitting on it… I have had sinusitis and rhinitis since I was young, and every winter I get clear runny nose streaming out, and in the morning my nose gets completely blocked These days my rhinitis allergies have gotten a bit worse, so the mucous membrane of my eyes is itchy, the area around my left eyebrow is itchy, the inside of my nose is dry and stings, and so on… I do not know whether the aching in my nasal bridge is also a rhinitis symptom, nasal contracture, or inflammation I thought about contacting the hospital where I had surgery, but since I do not have any clear symptoms yet, I wondered if I would seem like I was making a huge fuss, so I am asking here… Has anyone been like me?
종히얌 Still, try contacting the hospital where you had surgery. What if later, when something really goes wrong, they say it happened because you did not tell them in advance or something? You will feel more reassured if the hospital checks it too.
