I Decided on the Hospital Where I’ll Have Surgery.

I went around for consultations, and there were hospitals I liked and hospitals where I thought, this is really not it. There were many hospitals I liked, but I was worried things might get heated if I wrote them all down, so I’ll only write about the hospital where I’m going to have surgery and how the consultation went. The waiting time and the consultation with the manager itself were the same as other hospitals. They said many of the staff had worked there for a long time, and in reality, the pre-surgery consultation manager was very detailed. When I asked something, she also gave her opinion on it based on her own view? and explained things well... Of course, consultation managers are all random, so I might just have been lucky and consulted with someone good. Manager consultations usually aren’t long, but here the manager consultation was a bit long too. I’m only doing revision rhinoplasty, but the conversation drifted into other surgical categories too, so I think that made it longer. There were some subtle recommendations, but not to the point of pressure? Like, “This is an option, and it would be okay if you did it, but the important thing first is revision rhinoplasty, so I’ll tell you more about that.” That was the feeling... The conversation was a bit long, so I was getting tired, but right at that timing, the consultation with the director started. The director... I can describe him in just three words: Direct. Only talks about the surgery. Blunt. Of course, bluntness is relative, but that’s how I felt. Usually when you go for consultations, there’s this and that small talk... You end up talking about all kinds of things, but here I think we talked more about when I had surgery before and how I wanted to have the surgery done. Since I had been going around for consultations starting a month ago, I liked that I didn’t have to repeat things I’d already said, and I liked being able to hear only the key points, but I think preferences would be divided on this. For everyone going to a first consultation, you might think, “Why does he seem so indifferent? It feels like the consultation ends quickly?” I think that could happen. Anyway, after finishing the consultation, I became pretty firm about roughly where I should have it done, so I decided to get the surgery. I decided to have it at Grace ON Young, and honestly, it’s not that I liked absolutely everything about the hospital. But after looking at the consultations overall, this place was the one I liked the most and thought would be okay, so I decided. I recommend everyone visit many hospitals too. The more you go around and compare, the more clearly you can decide what fits you and what kind of look you want. I’ll have the surgery done well and write another review then :) See you again
