Hello~ It’s not really much of a review; I’m just writing about my experience~^^ I’m currently 1 year and 3 months post-rhinoplasty. I had a closed approach, and the materials were 4 mm silicone for the nasal bridge and ear cartilage for the nasal tip. Since it was 4 mm, it may sound like I raised it a lot, but because I had basically no glabellar/nasal bridge height at all, the silicone was only that high around the glabella area to raise it. I also had a slight hump on my nasal bridge, but I didn’t have it rasped down. The director said he would refine the silicone as much as possible to cover the hump. I was worried that if I had complications later and had to remove it, my already small nose might become even lowerㅜ so I didn’t shave down the hump. Starting 2 years before surgery, I suddenly became very interested in rhinoplasty, joined different online communities, and read every surgery review I could find for reference. Because I live outside Seoul, it was hard to tour plastic surgery clinics. I had surgery with someone who isn’t famous but is known by word of mouth for being conscientious. The result isn’t a dramatic style, and honestly, from the side, you can tell. Whether rhinoplasty is natural or dramatic, I feel like you can usually tell once someone has had it done. I did regret wondering if I should have gone more dramatic rather than trying to insist it was natural and not telling people, but the higher you put it in, the more burden it places on the skin and the more I worried about complications. ㅜㅜ Since my main goal was just to make my nose look a bit better than my original nose in a natural way, I don’t regret it and I’m satisfied. But these days, when I look at Suzy or Jung Chaeyeon from I.O.I, their results look so naturally good that I wonder where they had it doneㅜ That was the style I wanted, but from the start I have a short nose, while Chaeyeon and Suzy seem to have noses of a suitable length for their faces, so maybe just slightly raising the nasal tip made them look prettyㅜㅜ Anyway, now the swelling has gone down and it’s almost settled, so I’m satisfied in my own wayㅎㅎ My only wish is that I never get complications, just like thisㅎㅎ
