Before <before surgery> After <after surgery> After <after surgery> After <after surgery> After <after surgery> I had surgery to lower the outer corners of my eyes, lower canthoplasty. It’s almost been a month now.
My outer eye corners usually tilt upward, so I was stressed because it made my impression look a bit strong. I absolutely hated the idea of it becoming overly ㄷ-shaped, so I looked for a hospital and director who would make it look natural. There are a lot of canthoplasty hospitals, but surprisingly, there aren’t many that do it naturally and subtly without making it obvious. So I really looked into a lot of hospitals and also listened to reviews from acquaintances.
The director at the hospital where I had surgery didn’t have many hospital reviews because the hospital hadn’t been open for long, but I heard he had been famous for eye and nose surgeries since his previous hospital, and that the place was well-known by word of mouth, so I got a referral from an acquaintance and had the surgery.
There was no stitch removal, I could return to daily life right away, and I had no conjunctival edema or anything like that. Even on the day of surgery, my eyes were just a little swollen??? There was almost no pain either.
Lower canthoplasty and lateral canthoplasty seem like simple surgeries, but I saw a lot of people who ended up with ㄷ-shaped results and lots of side effects ㅠㅠ Seeing that makes my heart hurt... I wanted it to look natural and not obvious, and during both the consultation and the design, the director was really meticulous about checking my needs. I’ve been to factory-style hospitals a few times too, but this felt completely different from that really chaotic feeling.. Even for a simple surgery, I recommend a one-doctor clinic. You can really keep receiving care, and the director’s consultation was so good that I’m never going to a factory-style hospital again.. If you’re curious about the cost, send me a message or leave a comment!
