I was very satisfied with my orthodontic treatment. The facilities weren’t bad, and the follow-up care wasn’t bad either. I think I started sometime in the first half of 2014 and finished in December 2015. It seems like it took a little over a year and a half. Originally, I didn’t need to have any teeth extracted, but I just ended up having two removed from the top and two from the bottom. I thought if I was going to do it anyway, that would be better??? There wasn’t any particular reason. They said I only need to wear the removable retainer occasionally now. But I didn’t know this, but they put in or attach something like a thin wire on the inside of the teeth, and apparently that has to stay semi-permanently. I’ve gotten used to it, so I don’t really feel any discomfort, but anyway, I think it’s good to know about that. Before orthodontic treatment, my teeth were very uneven, but after getting it done, my teeth became really nicely aligned, so I’m happy. At the time, I went to a clinic in Seoul that was running a promotion, but my hometown is Incheon, so I missed appointments a bit and stuff. So my mom said she hated seeing that, and my younger sibling got treatment at a clinic closer to Incheon. My sibling has now had the wire removed and is using a removable retainer, but it seems like they don’t like that clinic’s follow-up care. My treatment ended uneventfully, so I thought the clinic was neither amazingly good nor bad, and I didn’t think the clinic mattered that much for orthodontics. But seeing my sibling’s experience, I guess you do need to choose the clinic carefully for orthodontic treatment too. I wouldn’t strongly recommend the dental clinic I went to or say it was the best, but if someone asked me where I got it done, I think I could recommend it as not bad. The doctor was kind, and the staff service wasn’t bad either. Oh, but while writing this, I remembered that even though I missed appointments often, they treated me very kindlyㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ... Thinking about it now, I really was a huge nuisance hehe...
