10-Year Review of Double Eyelid Surgery

It has been 10 years since I had full-incision double eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty. Whether then or now, one of the easiest ways to become pretty is still double eyelid surgery..

The line and eye shape that are in fashion do seem to change a little depending on the era. I didn’t set the line very high in the first place, so it’s not an eye style that follows trends, but that also means it isn’t especially trendy either ㅠㅠㅠ

I had epicanthoplasty because of my epicanthal fold, and since I have keloid-prone skin, I was fine. My original hidden in-out double eyelid was visible even when I opened my eyes, so I had full-incision surgery just a little higher than that.

Maybe because of aging or maybe that’s just how it was originally, the skin elasticity seems to be decreasing and my double eyelids feel like they’re getting smaller and smaller, but if I have revision surgery I might not be able to close my eyes, so I’ll just keep living like this ㅎㅎ
