I'm 7 months post-op from posterior canthoplasty (lateral canthal fixation) haha I was told many times that because my eyes were originally short, it would be hard to increase their horizontal length, but the director here said it was possible, so even though it was expensive, I went ahead with the surgery. They said that with the posterior canthoplasty, it would be fixed to the bone so it wouldn't come undone~ I had it done with trust because it was a place my friends had gone to. I normally bruise really easily, but maybe my condition was good that day, because I didn't bruise and wasn't swollen at all, so I even went to an appointment right away. Later, I struggled with conjunctival edema, but after going to an ophthalmology clinic and getting prescribed anti-inflammatory eye drops, it went down completely ~~ I'm satisfied even now, but I still have the desire for my eyes to be longer.. They're quite round and big haha so even if they were a bit smaller, I wish they were longer~ Still, everyone around me says my eyes are pretty, so I feel good!
