When I was young and didn't know much, I had an endoscopic forehead lift recommended by a manager, and afterward I developed abnormal sensation in my scalp. The doctor told me to bring proof that I had no sensation. In reality, there is no way to prove this lack of sensation. Even at a university hospital, they said there is no such test, and even neurosurgery said there was nothing they could do. I had no choice but to blame myself for deciding on surgery so suddenly in my early 20s without researching properly.
I demanded either a refund or that they restore this sensation, but I did not even receive a proper response.
A few years later, I went to a hospital specializing in lifts, not this hospital, and asked whether there was any way to improve this. The doctor said it seemed scar tissue had built up and was pressing on the nerves. After pressing firmly on my forehead and scalp, he gave me injections in my forehead, and I really felt as if that blocked nerve? sensation? opened up, and it improved.
After about 6 sessions of injections costing around 150,000 won per session, the sensation did not return 100%, but about 75% came back.
The lift doctor suggested a solution as soon as he heard my story.. It makes no sense that a doctor would not know a direction for improvement. A hospital I want to curse forever.
They should not have touched a field they are bad at.
