I'm bringing over a review I wrote on Babitalk in 2020. My lips were so short horizontally compared to my face that they looked pinched, and the corners of my mouth were extremely droopy, giving a bad impression.
I also had asymmetry, and there was a scar above my lips, so I really agonized over getting filler and finally chose this clinic.
Could this be done with filler too? Really? I didn't want surgery either... whining whining... When I went in for the consultation, the director said... Director: Which part of your lips are you worried about? Me: My lips look pinched....
lololololololololololololololololololol They explain my lips in incredible detail.. Apparently, because I naturally had very strong muscles that made the corners of my mouth droop a lot(?), they said I should also exercise the mouth corners.. They diagnosed that exactly lolol haha if you look at my elementary school photos my mouth already looks like :( ... Ah lollll. They also said they would support it with threads and botox, and if that didn’t work, I’d need surgery to get the result I wanted.
It really had a professional smell and I felt complete trust, so even though I had originally only booked a consultation, I went ahead and did it that day. It was a procedure called something like no-mesh mouth corner lifting, and it hurt quite a lot.. I really cried a river..
Luckily, the result is very satisfying.
As of September 2023, the filler is still very plump. You can’t find my old tiny, pinched lips anywhere. I even wondered if it was okay for it to still be like this. But as expected, humans are creatures of habit, so I didn’t really keep up with the mouth-corner exercises. It drooped again T_T I saw they came out with something called devil mouth corners, and I want to try that..
The price is really steep for lip filler, though. But seeing that it still hasn’t gone down after three years, maybe it is reasonable?
