Review of revision surgery for an upturned nose

I had rhinoplasty 5 years ago I had silicone for the nasal bridge and septal cartilage for the nasal tip, but as time passed, my nose drooped like a bow, became crooked, and turned upward, so it gradually became a piggy nose. I didn’t have pain or inflammation, so I just thought maybe I simply didn’t like the original shape, but people around me also said my nose was too upturned, so I went to consultations at about three places? and researched the rest online, then decided on a hospital and had surgery on July 2 They said the silicone was just about to break through... They said they would remove the silicone, use donated dermis for the nasal bridge, and donated costal cartilage to lower the upturned nose and build up the nasal tip, but told me there would be a limit to how much my nose could be lowered. Unlike the previous consultation, on the day of surgery during the consultation, they said they would place my own ear cartilage once more on top of the donated costal cartilage. They said that way it would match my own tissue and fit more softly, or something like that..? So they said they would lower the nasal tip as much as possible into a straight or straight-with-slight-slope line. So I went into surgery at twelve, more nervous than ever in my life, and finished at four thirty My nose and ear were stinging... I recovered, went back the day after surgery and the day after that, received antibiotics and disinfection, and today, around day 5-6, I had the splint, the cotton inside my nose, and the outer stitches removed. My nose was originally very small, short, and low, so I’m not even hoping for it to be very high. I think the shape will be clearer in 2 weeks. Right now my nose and whole face are very swollen I’ll need to manage it diligently.. As expected, having surgery again this time made me feel it again: I absolutely do not recommend rhinoplasty to anyone thinking about it... Not everyone gets side effects, but like me, they may show up years later without being obvious, and with the nose, you don’t know until it’s opened up. Also, there are many cases where functionally it becomes worse than before, so anyone thinking about rhinoplasty, please think about it once again...
