Hello haha, this is my second post about nostril reduction. Some people wanted photos, so I brought photos too!!
As I posted in my previous post, I’m satisfied with the result, and there are no scars. Because I had an internal incision, except for the redness under the nose from new skin forming, it’s not really noticeable. It just looks about as red as when there’s sebum secretion.
At first after the surgery, I could see the incision marks, so I thought, “Oh, my nostril wings were cut...” There were marks that made me feel that ㅠㅠ like the cut skin had been attached back on. I wondered if the scars would remain like that, but after everything healed, I can’t see them anymore. And at first, I wondered if my nostril wings had been reduced too much, like Michael Jackson’s nose, but after all the swelling went down, it’s just right. I even wonder if it might have been better to reduce them more haha. The swelling didn’t last very long, maybe about a week. But the line that looked like it had been cut lasted about two weeks? Three weeks? I think.
And during the healing process, a lot, really a lot, of sebum and dead skin forms... I put saline on a cotton swab and cleaned up the dead skin around my nose too. The clinic didn’t tell me to disinfect it, they just said, “Please wipe only around the stitches with saline!” I was scared by myself, thinking, “Huh, shouldn’t I disinfect this?” But it just healed well...... I only did cold compresses for about a day because it was annoying and then stopped, but I didn’t bruise, and the swelling didn’t last long haha.
I’m extremely satisfied!! haha
